Kuana Torres Kahele in Concert

We’re excited to bring to our Center Stage, a special performance by Kuana Torres Kahele, a Hawaiian musician, vocalist, songwriter, record producer, dancer and educator from Hilo, Hawaii.
Known primarily for his acoustic compositions, Kuana arranges traditional Hawaiian music and will be performing holiday concert songs as well for this engagement. A founding member of “Na Palapalai” a Hawaiian music group that released seven albums, which several have charted on the top five on the world Billboard charts. The group has also won many Na Hoku Hanohano awards.
In 2014, Kuana voiced the lead character in Lava, an animated short film by Pixar, he sang the music as well. Kuana released solo albums starting in 2012 and won five Na Hoku Hanohano awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year.
