AIA Honolulu presents the 19th Annual Canstruction™ at Kahala Mall!
Members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) lead teams of talented construction and design professionals to showcase their creativity by constructing intricate structures made entirely from canned goods. These innovative creations are not just a testament to their design and construction skills, but also serve a greater purpose. After the event, all canned goods are donated to the Hawaiʻi Foodbank, helping to support those in need across the islands.
Through this event, AIA Honolulu has provided over 600,000 meals to Hawaii families and mall-goers like you have raised over $100,000 for the Hawaiʻi Foodbank.
All eight Canstruction structures will be on display in Kahala Mall, near Macy’s, from Saturday, Sept. 14- Saturday Sept. 21! This year’s theme is “Game Over for Hunger”.
