Fighting Eel

Renown Hawaii-based clothing brand Fighting Eel relocated to a larger retail space at Kahala Mall! As of April, FE now occupies a 1,400 square-foot storefront across from Sephora and SoHa Living.

“We are thrilled to expand our presence at Kahala Mall and bring our customers into a space that truly reflects our island-inspired, smile-inducing designs and prints of Fighting Eel,” said Lan Chung, designer and owner of Fighting Eel. “This larger boutique allows us to present more of our collections and deliver an immersive shopping experience to better serve our clients.”

Fighting Eel now features a broader range of women’s, men’s and children’s apparel. Accessories include home goods, travel items, tote bags, stationery and fine jewelry. Fighting Eel started over 20 years ago and their location at Kahala has been here for over a decade. Their reopening features the debut of the brand’s latest “Butterfly Ginger” collection, inspired by the ginger flower and symbolizing transformation and new beginnings!

Over the years, Fighting Eel designs have been worn by celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria and Rachel McAdams, according to Chung. The brand’s products have also been sold in more than 250 stores, including boutiques and Barneys New York, Intermix, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
